Kia previews its all-new Carens

Seoul, South Korea – Kia has issued a “preview sketch” of its all-new Carens compact MPV, which will be named Rondo in North America. The model will make its world premiere in May at the Salon International del Automovil de Madrid.

The Carens replaces a model in Europe and is longer, wider and taller than its predecessor; it will also be available with seven seats for the first time in Europe. The Carens will be the company’s first new model to make its debut at a European motor show, following the Picanto, Rio, Sportage and Carnival (sold as the Sedona in North America), underlining the importance of the European market to Kia.
