Mississauga, Ontario – Kia Canada has announced pricing on the all-new 2010 Forte compact sedan, which will start at $15,695 when it goes on sale at the end of April.

The 2010 Forte was developed under the leadership of designer Peter Schreyer and represents the first step in Kia’s brand evolution. 

“With its sleek lines and powerful design cues, the Forte sedan is a stunning example of Kia’s new design language,” said Maria Soklis, senior director of operations. “The Forte also embodies Kia’s commitment to design vehicles that offer consumers outstanding quality and value.”

The Forte LX and EX use a 156-horsepower, 2.0-litre four cylinder engine, and will start at $15,695 and $17,995, respectively. The SX uses a 173-horsepower, 2.4-litre engine, and will start at $20,995. The LX and EX use a five-speed manual transmission or optional four-speed automatic, while the SX comes with a six-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic.
