John Cooper Works Mini package to be shown at New York auto show
Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey – A new performance package for the Mini Cooper S will make its North American premiere at the New York International Auto Show in April. The John Cooper Works package for the Cooper S will be available this spring.
Developed by the John Cooper Works company, the performance package includes a reconfigured cylinder head, uprated supercharger along with special engine electronics and a performance exhaust. The package was developed and tested for all global markets and is completely covered by the new car warranty. The package boosts the Cooper S horsepower from 163 to 200. Current Mini Cooper S owners can retrofit their car with the package at any time.
A performance package for the Cooper, which is offered in Europe, will not be available in North America.
