Jeep sponsors mountain biking event

Windsor, Ontario – Jeep today announced it is teaming up with Trilife Sports International to present ’24 Hours of Adrenalin’, a mountain bike relay event where teams of up to 10 people, or solo riders, race to complete as many laps as possible in a 24 hour time frame. Now in its ninth year, the 24 Hours of Adrenalin is one of the fastest growing mountain bike events in North America and is designed to accommodate riders of all skill levels.

“Just like our Jeep products, this event was created for people who love to live life… people who work hard all week long and like to let loose in their spare time,” said Pearl Davies – Senior Chrysler/Jeep Brand Manager.

Jeep’s contribution to the events will include a themed camp area offering a Jeep product display, literature and information kiosk, and a chance to play the new Jeep 4×4 EVO2 game. Jeep Expo will serve as a base camp for the weekend, with music and a lively atmosphere. Attendees can win Jeep prizes for participating in unique contests like the “Jeep Liberty Challenge,” a timed radio-control Jeep Liberty-model race on a traditional Jeep obstacle-course, complete with rocks and other natural materials… Contestants can also try their luck at many more fun activities, like Jeep Trivia Pursuit, Jeep 24 seconds of Adrenalin and Jeep Bike Skills Challenge to name a few.

As well, Jeep will develop a special web-site that will include Jeep extreme biking tips, the 24 Hours of Adrenalin event schedule and the Jeep Expo activities schedule over the course of the five events. Digital photos of the events, its participants and Jeep vehicles will be taken and posted on the site and will be accessible for download to friends (viral enabled) and family. Other images will also be available for use as wallpaper or screen savers.

“We’re excited about the future as we continue to grow the 24 Hours of Adrenalin series,” says Stuart Dorland, President and Founder of Trilife Sports International. “Today, people are looking for challenging, team-oriented events, and the Adrenalin series is just that. The relaxed approach of participants, great mountain biking courses, prime venue locations, and a weekend of casual camping with friends and family, makes a 24 Hours of Adrenalin event an ideal outdoor alternative. As we continue to expand our series across North America, our goal is to continue to provide the best mountain bike racing experience possible.”
