Jeep reaches mobile TV viewers with branded channel and mobile advertisements

Emeryville, California – MobiTV, a global leader in television and digital radio services for mobile devices, has unveiled its mobile television advertising platform, starting with advertisements for Jeep.

MobiTV’s platform enables brands to deliver video advertisements as part of the live TV video streams delivered to mobile phones. The company is running Jeep ads and has introduced a Jeep channel showcasing multiple episodes of Jeep’s short serial, “The Mudds”, featuring a family that is always covered in mud.

MobiTV has 500,000 subscribers and provides live TV services and content to subscribers of major carriers in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Latin America. By subscriber count, it is equivalent to the 13th largest cable operator in the United States.
