Jeep Commander receives top frontal crash protection rating

Auburn Hills, Michigan – The 2006 Jeep Commander has received the highest five-star rating for frontal-impact crash protection from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This makes it the eleventh new Chrysler Group product to achieve the top rating.

Other vehicles that earned the rating, starting in 2003, are the Chrysler Pacifica, Chrysler and Dodge minivans, Dodge Durango, Dodge Ram 1500, Dodge Ram Quad, Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Dakota, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Charger.
