Jeep announces Special Edition models to mark 65 years

Auburn Hills, Michigan – In honour of the brand’s 65th year, Jeep is offering special edition models of the 2006 Commander, Grand Cherokee, Liberty and Wrangler (TJ), which will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show.

“Since they were first mass-produced in 1941, Jeep vehicles have gone on to become the authentic benchmark for off-road capability,” says John Plecha, Director, Jeep Marketing and Product Planning. “Jeep vehicles have mastered more terrain, lead more adventures and provided drivers more freedom than any other vehicle before or since. These 65th Anniversary Editions pay homage to the legend that is Jeep.”

The special models will be offered in Light Khaki, Dark Khaki, Bright Silver, Black and new Jeep Green. All will feature option packages and special 65th Anniversary Edition badging.
