Jeep announces details of annual Camp Jeep off-road driving event

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Jeep has announced its annual Camp Jeep family-friendly off-road event, which will be held for the first time in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on August 10 to 12, 2006. The event is open to all Jeep owners; those who register before July 24 will receive a US$75 gasoline card.

The event will also feature a performance by Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi as the Blues Brothers, an air show with World War II vintage aircraft, a special exhibition by skateboarder Tony Hawk, and the Jeep King of the Mountain Professional Bike World Championship.

Attendees will be able to test-drive the 2007 Jeep Compass, Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, see the 2007 Jeep Patriot, and take thrill rides in the Grand Cherokee SRT 8.
