Windsor, Ontario – Chrysler Canada has announced pricing for the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which will start at $37,995 in Laredo trim. This represents a reduction of $3,650 from the outgoing 2010 model.

“The all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the most capable Grand Cherokee ever, balancing legendary Jeep off-road capability with on-road sophistication to deliver a premium driving experience for all adventures,” said Ed Broadbear, vice-president of marketing for Chrysler Canada. “The new Grand Cherokee, the premium icon of the Jeep brand, offers a unique blend of features and amenities, capability and refinement that no other sport utility or crossover vehicle can deliver, all at a great price.”

Features include three 4×4 systems, new Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension, new Selec-Terrain system, and a towing capability of 7,200 lbs. An all-new 290-horsepower 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine provides 38 per cent more power and delivers a 14 per cent improvement in fuel economy at 8.9 L/100 km and over 1,000 km on one tank of fuel. Also available is a 360-horsepower 5.7-litre V8 with fuel-saving Multi-Displacement System, delivering 10.6 L/100 km.

The new Grand Cherokee will arrive at showrooms in June in Laredo E, Laredo X, Limited and Overland trim lines.
