Jaguar to sponsor Montreal fashion show during Grand Prix week

Montreal, Quebec – One of Montreal’s trendiest streets will be closed to traffic June 6-8 so that spectators can browse at the Jaguar Sensation Design Event. Boulevard Ste. Laurent, between Sherbrooke and Prince Arthur Streets, will become a pedestrian-only walking area, where there will be an exterior fashion show, beauty clinics, the launch of new clothing collections, live window displays and on-the-spot photo shoots and design contests.

Under the Jaguar tent, Jaguar will feature its current line-up of cars including the new 2003 S-TYPE range, being lead by the all-new 400 horsepower, supercharged S-TYPE R model – the most powerful production car ever to be produced by the Coventry, UK, manufacturer – priced at $89,950.

“Jaguar cars have always been an integral part of the essence of style,” said Jacques Parent, vice president of Marketing for Jaguar Canada. “Jaguar’s Sensation Design Event allows us to showcase our stylish cars among some of the greatest in fashion design.
