Jaguar-sponsored fashion shows begin this evening in Montreal

Montreal, Quebec — For the second year, Jaguar Canada is sponsoring the Jaguar Sensation Design Event, a high-profile fashion event, during Grand Prix week in Montreal. The runway fashion shows, which run today through Sunday at 9 pm on St. Laurent Street, will showcase the creations of local designers Marisa Minicucci, Tavan & Mitto, and Denis Gagnon. In addition, there will be other fashion shows daily on a smaller street runway and the Voltige & Opera runway, featuring such designers as Dominique Ouzilleau and Sheila Dassin.

“It makes perfect sense for Jaguar to be sponsoring the Sensation Design events surrounding the Montreal Grand Prix,” said Jacques Parent, vice president of marketing for Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover Canada. “Jaguar is known for its outstanding performance and cutting-edge design, and supporting talented local fashion designers at runway shows allows us to introduce Jaguar’s cutting-edge style to a new market.”

Jaguar’s new S-TYPE and S-TYPE R will be displayed prominently on the street and around the catwalk for attendees to get a closer look.

The Jaguar Sensation Design Event is a production of Sensation Mode, a group who specializes in the creation of avant-garde concepts promoting fashion design.
