Jaguar Canada donates X-Type sedan to Variety charity event

Toronto, Ontario – At a black tie gala held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto last week, Jaguar Canada again sponsored the grand prize for the 44th Annual Variety Gourmet Dinner.

Attendees of this exclusive, annual event included corporate VIPs, community influencers and media personalities, including Susan Hay of Global TV as the evening’s host.

This event featured an elegant gourmet feast, a silent and live auction and a chance to win prizes including the grand prize of a 2004 Jaguar X-Type, the company’s all-wheel drive sedan.

“This event is a very special event for Jaguar,” said Vic Bernardini, president of Jaguar Canada. “We feel strongly about giving back to the community through such an important charity, and it really is fun to give away the keys to such a terrific car.”

The Children’s Charity has spent more than half a century serving Ontario’s disabled children and their families. Variety Village is the only facility of its kind in the World that serves children and youth of all abilities, offering healthy sport programming to 3,100 disabled children and youth each week.
