International auto experts to gather in Ottawa to discuss 21st century challenges

Ottawa, Ontario – A group of international auto experts will meet in Ottawa to discuss “The Auto Industry in the 21st Century: Challenges and Prospects”.

More than fifteen international experts from the automotive industry that will discuss topics such as environmental regulations, labour market issues, and alternative fuels.

Guest speakers will include Rogelio Ramirez de la O from Mexico, Sean McAlinden from the Altarum Institute in Michigan, and Dennis Desrosiers, Canada’s leading automotive industry analyst

Support for the Conference is provided by AUTO 21 , a national research initiative supported by the Government of Canada through the Networks of Centres of Excellence Directorate and more than 120 industry, government and institutional partners

The conference will take place April 10-11, 2003 at the Lord Elgin Hotel, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
