Toyota ranks as best global automotive brand in eighth place overall

Interbrand has been measuring brand value for a number of years. Their “Best Global Brands Report” is a who’s-who list of most recognizable companies from a consumer perspective.

It should be no surprise that Apple and Google take the top two spots, following closely by Coca-Cola, IBM, Microsoft, General Electric (GE), and Samsung.

When it comes to cars though, Toyota is the highest ranking automaker, firmly in eighth place ahead of McDonalds.
