Mississauga, Ontario – The Infiniti Essence concept, initially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, will make its Canadian debut at the 2010 Montreal Auto Show in January, along with an appearance at the 2010 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto in February.

The Essence, which marks Infiniti’s 20th anniversary, is a 592-horsepower, rear-wheel drive gasoline/electric hybrid coupe. It showcases many of the technologies that will distinguish Infiniti production cars in the future, including its hybrid system and design cues.

“The Infiniti Essence is a reflection of the performance and design that goes into every Infiniti we create, and it’s great that Canadians will have an opportunity to see this truly remarkable vehicle,” said Wendy Durward, director of Infiniti Canada. “Essence represents the possibilities when design and technology are pushed to the limits, and Canadian car enthusiasts will not be disappointed.”
