Electrified QX60 joins Nissan Pathfinder in hybrid SUV lineup
It should come as no surprise there is a new hybrid version of the QX60 – formerly JX35 – being added to the Infiniti lineup. The Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, pricing announced earlier, provides the basis for the electrified QX60.
Going on sale late this month, the new QX60 Hybrid is powered by the same 2.5L supercharged four-cylinder engine as its Nissan counterpart and utilizes a 15 kW electric motor connected to a Continuously Variable Transmission. The drivetrain combination returns a highway fuel economy figure of 7.3L/100km, a 23-percent improvement over the non-hybrid, V6 powered model.
The new hybrid comes in two trim levels – Premium and fully loaded (Premium, Theatre, Driver Assistance, Deluxe Touring, Technology [includes Driver Assistance package]) – starting at $53,950 and going up to $62,950.
