Impark to waive parking fees in Calgary and Edmonton in return for toys
Calgary, Alberta – Impark is offering a one-day, four-hour event on December 12 where anyone in the Calgary or Edmonton area with an unpaid Impark parking violation notice can have it waived by making a toy donation to the Salvation Army.
In return for a new, unwrapped toy, Impark will waive each donor’s unpaid parking violation notice. A single toy donated will waive a single unpaid violation notice; those with multiple notices will have to bring a separate toy for each notice they would like waived. This is a one-time offer, during the stated hours only. All toys donated will be used in the Salvation Army’s Christmas Relief efforts.
The toys will be accepted strictly between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006. Calgary drivers can bring their toys to the Salvation Army Toy Warehouse, H1 2930 Falaise Ave SW (Currie Barracks), Calgary; Edmonton drivers can bring their toys to the Salvation Army, 9618 – 101A Avenue, Edmonton.
