Markham, Ontario – Hyundai Canada has announced a new fuel rebate program that will offer customers a discount of 30 cents per litre with the purchase of selected Hyundai vehicles.

The program, in partnership with Petro Canada during the month of April, includes a gas card that delivers the 30-cent discount until 2012 on up to 1,200 litres of fuel.

“Our new fuel card program will help the average Canadian significantly cut their fuel bill for the rest of this year,” said John Vernile, Hyundai’s vice-president of marketing. “Given the rising price of gasoline, we think this program is the perfect complement to our fuel-efficient range of vehicles. I can’t think of any other program offering this deep of a discount off of a litre of gasoline.”

The program is available on top of all existing incentives and applies to the purchase of a new 2011 Accent, Elantra Touring, Sonata, Tucson or Santa Fe.
