Hydrogen Hondas can find their own filling stations
Torrance, California – Honda has announced that its 2005 FCX hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles will be equipped with a Honda-developed navigation system that will incorporate the location of hydrogen refuelling stations. The first retail FCX was recently delivered to the Spallino family of Torrance, California.
The voice-activated navigation system will include the location, directions and driving distances to 26 hydrogen stations, nine of them outside the state of California. Owners will be able to add stations to their personal address books, while Honda will include periodic system updates when new stations are available.
