Honda to sue China’s Intellectual Property Office
Vancouver, British Columbia – Just-Auto reports that Honda will sue the Chinese government’s State Intellectual Property Office over its decision that a Honda patent for the external design of the CR-V model is invalid.
In 2003 and 2004, Honda sued two Chinese automakers over design similarities between its vehicles.
Honda is currently producing the CR-V in China with its partner, Dongfeng Motor Group.
