Honda owners are the most loyal in Canada, says J.D. Power

Toronto, Ontario – Among the six auto manufacturers that sell the most new vehicles in Canada, Honda Canada commands the highest owner loyalty, according to a new report by J.D. Power and Associates. Almost two-thirds of Honda and Acura owners trade their vehicles for another one of the same brand, a loyalty rate almost six percentage points higher than the rate for the second-place manufacturer.

In contrast, Nissan has the lowest loyalty rate, with only a little more than one-third of its owners remaining with the company when they trade.

The report says that the most loyal Ford and Chrysler owners are in the Calgary/Edmonton market, while Toronto is the highest area of loyalty for General Motors and Toyota.
