Ford sells more vehicles in Canada than any other automaker or brand
Canada’s automotive market has trended up, way up, this year with record sales amongst almost all automakers. But, being Canadian, we tend to stick to what we know.
For the 16th year in a row, Honda is celebrating, as the Civic is yet again the top selling car in Canada. Ford is having a party as well. The F-Series continues to be the best selling vehicle line in Canada while the company and brand is on top of the sales chart.
Early in 2013, Chrysler and Ford were neck and neck for company sales (all brands included). However, toward the middle of the year, Ford stretched the gap.
Overall, FoMoCo took a 16.4-percent piece of the automotive sales pie in Canada. Chrysler came in second with 14.9-percent and GM rounded out the podium with 13.5-percent.
