Honda Canada to become official sponsor of Mosport raceway

Toronto, Ontario – Honda Canada announced it would become the Official Car Sponsor
and Vehicle Supplier of Mosport International Raceway, located just north-east of
Toronto. The racetrack will also be home to four races for the Honda / Michelin Challenge Series (HMCS), making a return in 2004 to Canadian “grass-roots” racing after a 12-year hiatus.

“Mosport International Raceway has a long history in Canadian motorsports dating
back to 1960,” said Kalim Ansari, Executive Vice President of Honda Canada Inc.

As part of the agreement, Honda will provide Mosport with two pace cars, one pursuit
car and two rapid response vehicles to support world-class racing events.

The Mosport track sponsorship adds to Honda’s support of motorsport activities in
Canada. Honda Canada is a major sponsor and primary vehicle supplier to the Formula
One Canadian Grand Prix to be held June 11-13 in Montreal.

Canada will host numerous race events in which Honda-powered drivers and riders will
