Santa Clarita, California – Amateur and entry-level professional racers in Canada will now have access to Honda’s Racing Line program, with parts and services available north of the U.S. border. Honda Performance Development (HPD) said that it is responding to strong demand from Canadian grassroots racers.
Launched in July 2009, the Honda Racing Line is targeted at licenced participants in sanctioned amateur and entry-level professional racing. Licenced Canadian competitors can register through Honda Racing Line.
“We have been very pleased with the growth of the Honda Racing Line program in the U.S., and with the high level of interest we’ve received from Canadian racers,” said Erik Berkman, president of HPD. “We’re happy to be able to make Racing Line membership available in Canada, and will continue to expand our offerings of products and support to club members.”
Once registered, racers have access to performance parts for purchase; race engines, including the Honda Fit for SCCA Formula F competition; Web-based technical support; 24-hour service publication support; and door-to-door delivery of original-equipment parts for individual race cars. Contingency award programs are also available for members of the Honda Racing Line competing in SCCA and NASA racing.
