Toronto, Ontario – Honda has announced the redesigned 2010 CR-V, which is now on sale at a starting price of $27,790, unchanged from 2009 pricing.
“CR-V combines the desired aspects of a compact car with the functionality of a sport utility vehicle to make a stylish yet capable year-round vehicle for Canadians,” said Jerry Chenkin, executive vice-president of Honda Canada. “The 2010 CR-V represents even better value with significant upgrades and improvements.”
The CR-V’s 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine now puts out 180 horsepower, an increase of 14 horsepower over the 2009 model, but with improved fuel economy ratings. Exterior styling enhancements include a freshened front fascia, new bumper designs, resculpted hoods, and new wheel designs. Inside, the front seats have wider centre armrests, auto on/off headlights have been added to the CR-V EX, and Bluetooth is now included with the available satellite-linked navigation system.
The CR-V is available in two- or all-wheel drive, and in three trim levels, ranging from $27,790 to $37,090.
