Toronto, Ontario – Honda Canada has announced pricing on the all-new 2011 Odyssey minivan, which will go on sale on October 22 at prices ranging from $29,990 to $46,990.
The completely redesigned Odyssey includes greater functionality, a more distinctive style and improved fuel economy. Across all available models, more than 50 standard or available features have been added.
“The all-new Odyssey is set to once again redefine the minivan segment as the benchmark of minivans,” said Jerry Chenkin, executive vice-president of Honda Canada. “Never before has so much space, functionality and comfort been combined with this much style, safety, advanced technology and fuel economy, all in a fun-to-drive package.”
The entry-level Odyssey LX, at $29,990, includes an eight-way power driver’s seat, privacy glass, battery management system, tire pressure monitoring system, stability control, remote entry system, and Variable Cylinder Management for improved fuel economy.
A new “three-mode” second-row seat design expands laterally, along with a simpler-to-operate, one-motion, 60/40 split-row third-row “Magic Seat.” The second row is designed to better accommodate three passengers, while the new “wide mode” supports third-row pass-through access from the side, with as many was two child seats in place in the second row. The third row provides improved legroom and better sight lines out of the side windows.
A new, more powerful 3.5-litre V6 engine provides Variable Cylinder Management on all models and produces 248 horsepower. The Odyssey Touring models use a six-speed automatic transmission, while all others use a five-speed automatic.
