Hip-hop star to promote new 2007 Ford Edge
Dearborn, Michigan – Grammy-nominated hip-hop singer Kelis will star in a new urban marketing campaign to promote the all-new 2007 Ford Edge. The campaign, featuring the new song “Push It To The Edge”, will begin airing on December 20th on television, Internet, radio and print outlets.
Kelis announced her new relationship with Ford on Monday at a New York party to celebrate the release of a rap album by her husband Nas’. The new Edge advertisements will include a cameo by disc jockey Funkmaster Flex. The Kelis song and the Edge campaign will be an integral part of Ford’s new site, FordUrban.com, which will feature video content, discussion rooms and downloadable music starting in late December.
