Halifax, Nova Scotia – The former stars of Trailer Park Boys have begun a campaign to raise money for a feature-length film surrounding their participation in the Targa Newfoundland road rally.

The film, Race Dicks, will follow Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith as they attempt to raise enough money through racing endorsements to launch their own Internet-based network “SwearNet.” The film is targeted for a 2013 release. All contributions will be used for production costs related to preparing for and competing in Targa Newfoundland and making the movie.

The three previously starred in Trailer Park Boys: The Movie, which was the most popular film released in Canada for its first weekend release in October 2006. In 2010, Tremblay and Wells competed in Targa Newfoundland, driving a Porsche Cayman S to benefit the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
