Hamilton, Ontario – Chevrolet has launched a national competition, in conjunction with McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business in Ontario, that challenges business students to develop an innovative social media marketing campaign for the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze and compete for the title of Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec.

Business schools across Canada will go head-to-head in the competition. Members of the winning team will all take home a new 2011 Cruze.

“We’re really excited to work with top business school students from across Canada to help Chevrolet redefine the compact car market with the launch of the game-changing Chevrolet Cruze,” said Marc Comeau, Chevrolet vice-president of sales, service and marketing. “Chevrolet values the insight and perspective of today’s youth, and Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec provides a unique forum to leverage innovative media strategies directly from one of the key target demographics for the Cruze.”
