GM returns to the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival

New York, New York – For the fourth consecutive year, General Motors has been named a Signature Sponsor and the Official Vehicle Provider of the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.

Cadillac and Saturn brands will be seen in various displays, and will be used for VIPs and celebrities for transportation between venues, including parties and premieres hosted or co-hosted by the brands. Saturn will also sponsor the Online Festival Shorts section, where films averaging eight to twelve minutes in length are screened.

The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in response to the attacks on the World Trade Center. The Festival’s mission is to promote New York City as an independent film capital and to foster the economic and cultural revitalization of Lower Manhattan.
