GM of Canada announces pricing for all new 2007 GMC Acadia

Oshawa, Ontario – General Motors of Canada has announced that pricing for the GMC Acadia, the brand’s first crossover SUV, will start at $36,495 for front-wheel drive models and $39,495 for all-wheel drive.

The Acadia, which goes on sale at the end of the year, is similar to the new Buick Enclave and Saturn Outlook. It features a new 3.6-litre V6 with variable valve timing that makes 275 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque, with a six-speed automatic transmission. Seating is up to eight passengers, with standard 60/40 split-row folding third seat. Standard features include StabiliTrak stability control system, six airbags, anti-lock brakes, OnStar with Turn-by-Turn navigation system, Smart Slide second-row seating, and 18-inch wheels.

Available optional features include ultrasonic rear parking assist, power liftgate, remote start, heated washer fluid, and DVD entertainment and navigation systems.
