GM of Canada announces pricing for 2003 medium duty trucks

Oshawa, Ontario – General Motors of Canada today announced Manufacturer Suggested Retail Prices for the Chevy Kodiak and GMC TopKick C4500-C5500 Series medium duty trucks.

With Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWRs) ranging from 16,000 pounds for the C4500 to 18,000 and 19,500 pounds for the C5500, the MSRP’s for these trucks are:

  • C4500 Regular Cab: $41,895
  • C4500 Cutaway: $41,115
  • C4500 Motorhome: $41,780
  • C5500 Regular Cab: $43,750
  • C5500 Cutaway: $42,970
  • C5500 Motorhome: $43,635
  • Plus a destination freight charge of $1,275.

“The Kodiak and TopKick have been redesigned and engineered from the ground up for 2003. These new trucks feature innovations that commercial customers value most, like superior maneuverability and visibility, an expanded powertrain lineup, upgraded serviceability, advanced chassis and braking systems, improved ride and handling and increased comfort and safety,” said Donna Martin, brand manager for medium duty trucks. “With our expanded product portfolio, our commercial customers now have more choice than ever before – from regular and commercial cutaway chassis cabs to vocational packages like school bus, fire and rescue, ambulance, shuttle bus, wrecker and snowplow.”

Prices for GMC TopKick C6500, C7500, and C8500 will be released in June.
