Mercedes to debut newest Maybach
Stuttgart, Germany – The newly-developed Maybach 57 Spezial (57 S) will make its debut at the International Auto Show in Frankfurt, Germany in September. The new sedan, the latest addition to the Maybach lineup, answers customer demands for greater engine output and agility.
Its 6.0-litre, V12 bi-turbo engine has been enhanced by Mercedes-AMG to develop 612 hp, and features a firmer suspension setup, without compromising an extremely high level of ride quality. The 57 S will reach zero to 100 km/h in five seconds.
Unique to the Spezial are an exclusive monochrome colour scheme, an enhanced radiator grille, revised lights, “57 S” badges, and new 20-inch spoked wheels. The 57 S will go on sale in Europe in November 2005.
