GM Canada announces pricing of 2005 Cadillac STS

Oshawa, Ontario – General Motors of Canada announced the MSRP (manufacturers suggested retail price) for the new 2005 Cadillac STS sedan will start at $58,750 for the V-6 model and $68,725 for the V-8 model. The STS will arrive in dealerships this Fall.

The V-6 model has a 3.6 litre V-6 engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT), 255 horsepower and 252 lb-ft. of torque. The V-8 version, features a 4.6 litre Northstar VVT engine with 320 horsepower and 315 lb-ft. of torque.

Both models include a 5-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift control, StabiliTrak Stability Enhancement System, a Bose sound system with CD player, leather seats, Keyless Access System with push button ignition start, Adaptive Remote Start, Panic Brake Assist and more.

Optional features include memory personalization, a Bose 5.1 Studio Surround System with 15 speakers, Magnetic Ride Control suspension system, Adaptive Cruise Control with four-colour reconfigurable Head-Up Display, heated and ventilated seats, 18-inch polished wheels and DVD Navigation.

All-wheel drive will also be available on the V-8 model at start of production.

The 2005 Cadillac STS will be assembled at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant which received 2004 Gold Plant Quality Award from J.D. Power and Associates.
