GM announces 2007 GMC Yukon pricing

Oshawa, Ontario – General Motors has announced that the all-new 2007 GMC Yukon will carry a base price of $44,615 on two-wheel-drive models and $48,030 on four-wheel-drive models.

The Yukon features an entirely new interior and exterior design, all-new chassis, and Stabilitrak with new proactive roll avoidance technology. It will be available across Canada in February 2006, followed by the launch of the Yukon XL and Denali models later in the year.

At start of production, a new Gen IV small-block Vortec 5.3-litre V8 engine will be standard equipment; fuel-saving technologies such as Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation technology, segment-leading aerodynamics and E85 ethanol flex fuel capability will be available on most models. A 4.8-litre V8 engine will become the standard engine on Yukon two-wheel-drive models later in the 2007 model year.

New optional features for 2007 include roof-mounted head curtain side airbags for all seating rows, power liftgate, 20-inch wheels, rearview camera system, heated windshield wiper fluid, and first-in-segment power-release fold-and-tumble second-row seat.
