Barrie, Ontario – The 25th anniversary of the Georgian College Auto Show runs in Barrie, Ontario from September 24 to 26. The show is North America’s largest outdoor, student-run automotive show.
Hosted by the Canadian Automotive Institute (CAI), the show is a dynamic display of Canada’s automotive retail industry in a non-pressure, sales-free environment. About 250 cars and trucks, valued at more than $15 million, will be on display.
First-year students from CAI will act as product ambassadors, trained by the manufacturers and knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicles in their tents. Second-year students will serve as captains and co-captains, while a five-person student committee plans and executes the show.
Professional drivers will also be on hand to take participants around a wet Pfaff Porsche test track in a Porsche for a small donation to charity. The event also includes an interactive children’s entertainment area, live musical entertainment, a special 25th anniversary display and live auction.
