Vancouver, British Columbia – Ford reached out to business school students at the University of British Columbia, providing insight about technology insights and best business practices. The event was an opportunity for the business executives of tomorrow to hear from a major North American company about relevant, real-world business experiences.

Scott Cauvel, vice-president of sales for Ford Motor Company of Canada, spoke to students at the university’s Sauder School of Business earlier this month.

As part of the school’s Careers in Business series, Cauvel engaged students in a candid and interactive discussion about the business of the auto industry, including a review of the past year’s economic crisis and the company’s “One Ford” plan to leverage its global assets so that all Ford vehicles will be common in North America, Europe and Asia by 2014.
