Ford uses web to market new Edge crossover

Dearborn, Michigan – Ford has recently launched a cutting-edge Web site for the all-new Edge, part of an extensive digital-marketing plan. The company is working with AOL to provide content to consumers.

The site can be accessed here and from there, through the Go See Do button. The opening sequence features the song “Miles and Miles” by Montreal musician DEE, while an animated Edge rides the Golden Gate Bridge, zooms through tunnels and arrives in a cityscape.

The site features animated segments, voice-over narration, and animated day and night “Vista Views” with fireworks, blimps and planets viewed through the Edge’s Vista Roof.
