Ford shows Britain’s Prince of Wales its “green” vehicles

Brentwood, Essex, England – The 40th anniversary of Ford’s technical centre in Dunton, England began with an official Royal visit from the Prince of Wales, who got a “behind-the-scenes” glimpse at Ford’s future green products.

The Dunton facility works on the development of future fuel-efficient vehicles. As part of his visit, the Prince drove a prototype Ford Focus, engineered to achieve better than 4.0 L/100 km and emit less than 100 grams of CO2 per kilometre.
