Ford Racing unveils new BOSS 302 crate engines at SEMA
Las Vegas, Nevada – Ford has unveiled a new line of BOSS 302 crate engines, capable of delivering up to 500 hp, at the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new V8 engines will go on sale in early 2007.
Debuting in 1969, the original BOSS 302 was used in a limited-production Mustang BOSS 302 for two years. The new engines start with an entry-level 340 hp, and go up to engines rated at 360, 450 and 500 hp. Click here for a photo of the engine.
