Ford Performance Parts creates “Man Racer”

Dearborn, Michigan – Ford has developed what it calls the “ultimate Mustang showroom stock race car”, intended to showcase Ford performance parts. Code-named “Man Racer”, the new 550-hp Mustang follows the successful FR500C, known as the “Boy Racer”.

Currently there is only one Man Racer, but Ford says more could be on their way if the company could find an appropriate racing series. If a series is found, the Man Racer will be sold to customers with a racing license for about US$200,000.
