Ford increases hybrid team

Dearborn, Michigan – With the rising popularity of hybrid vehicles, the Ford Motor Company has announced it is adding about 250 engineers to its hybrid vehicle team by the end of the first quarter of 2006. The company had already added about 40 engineers prior to September 2005, when Ford CEO Bill Ford announced that the company intends to build 250,000 hybrids annually by 2010.
