Ford displays latest products at Auto Shanghai 2005
Shanghai, China – The Ford Motor Company’s various brands, including Lincoln, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo and its partner Mazda, unveiled their latest products at this year’s Shanghai auto show.
The all-new Focus that was shown as a concept last June in Beijing is now making its debut across Asia this year and will be manufactured at Changan Ford. Also on display are three production cars, the Ford Five Hundred, Lincoln Zephyr and Ford Freestyle, and four concepts, the Ford Vignale, Focus RS WRC, Shelby GR-1 and Model U hydrogen concept.
The Jaguar brand was launched in China last year; displays at Shanghai include the XJ8L Sovereign long-wheelbase luxury sedan. Land Rover is displaying the Range Rover Sport, while Volvo is showing the XC90 V8 and the YCC (Your Concept Car), a Scandinavian design aimed at female consumers.
