Ford club to hold performance-driving clinic in Ontario
Shannonville, Ontario – The Canadian Region of the Ford Special Vehicle Team Owners Association (SVTOA) will hold its sixth annual On Track Event on August 11-13, 2006 at Shannonville Motorsport Park in Shannonville, Ontario. It is the only Canadian stop on the On Track Tour for 2006.
The two-day Performance Driving Clinic allows Ford performance enthusiasts to put their vehicles to the test in a safe, controlled environment, while improving day-to-day driving skills. A full staff of professional instructors will provide in-car, one-on-one instruction; men and women are invited to attend. The events are open to all Ford performance enthusiasts, including Ford family line vehicles such as Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Aston Martin and Land Rover.
The event includes a meet-and-greet reception and banquet dinner; it also raises money for various charities, including more than $1,300 raised for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto at the 2005 event.
