Dodge Charger makes Canadian premiere

Toronto, Ontario – The all-new Dodge Charger Daytona R/T made its Canadian premiere today beside its sibling, the Number 9 Dodge Charger stock car that will be used in this year’s CASCAR racing series. The racer was victorious in last Saturday’s NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race, marking the first Dodge Charger victory in 27 years.

The Dodge Charger Daytona R/T is built exclusively in Brampton, Ontario and will be available at dealers later this year. It will feature a 5.7-litre Hemi V8 and will be available in two special edition heritage colours, “Go ManGo!” and “Top Banana”. Exterior features include an exclusive front fascia with chin spoiler and black honeycomb grille, unique Hemi decal graphics, Daytona decal on the rear quarter, signature heritage R/T badging and a rear deck lid spoiler. The seats will include the Daytona name embroidered on the headrests, and the dash will carry a sequentially numbered limited-edition Daytona badge.
