Windsor, Ontario – Dodge has announced the all-new 2013 Dart compact sedan, which will make its world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.

The Dart is the first Chrysler Group vehicle based on a Fiat architecture and adapted from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. It will be offered with a choice of three engines: a new “Tigershark” 2.0-litre, turbocharged MultiAir 1.4-litre, and Tigershark MultiArt 2.4-litre engine. Three transmissions will also be available.

The Dart will be built at Chrysler’s plant in Belvidere, Illinois and will feature the signature Dodge split-crosshair grille, dual exhaust and full-width LED taillights inspired by the Dodge Charger.
