Dodge announces 2008 Dakota pricing

Windsor, Ontario – Dodge has announced pricing for the new 2008 Dakota, which will start at $25,695 for Extended Cab 4X2 models, an increase of $485; and $28,295 for Crew Cab 4X2 models, an increase of $530. The new trucks will arrive in dealerships in August.
The two body styles will be available in ST, SXT and SLT trim. The exterior includes a newly-styled hood, grille, front fascia, rear spoiler, fenders and headlamps; inside, the truck features a new instrument panel, centre console and accent finishes, and new interior storage choices. The Dakota will also be available with MyGIG, a multimedia system with 20-gigabyte hard drive and navigation radio.
Pricing will start at $25,695 for the ST Extended Cab in 4×2 configuration, and $29,295 for the 4×4; the Crew Cab starts in ST trim at $28,295 in 4×2, and $31,995 in 4×4. SXT models start at $27,195 and go to $33,395, while SLT trim lines range from $29,695 to $36,895. All are built at the company’s plant in Warren, Michigan.
