As well, Barbara Crompton and Howard Lailey were re-elected by acclamation and will continue representing the Vancouver region on the BCAA Board.
The British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) concluded its 69th Annual General Meeting in Kelowna on March 21. A total of 137 members attended the AGM.
“BCAA can no longer rely on being our ‘parent’s auto club’ and must now focus on becoming our childrens’ member services association,” said BCAA president and CEO, Bill Bullis, in the meeting’s keynote address. “In the nearly 100 years since its inception, BCAA has proven to be a leader, and now has an opportunity – indeed a responsibility – to continue being a leader in defining the automobile association of the future.”
The BCAA is British Columbia’s largest member services association, representing over 715,000 members in B.C. and the Yukon. Their web-site is at www.bcaa.com.
