DaimlerChrysler Canada donates vehicles to schools

Windsor, Ontario – This year, DaimlerChrysler Canada has donated more than 50 vehicles to the automotive technical training programs at secondary and post-secondary schools across Canada.

Various models, including the Chrysler 300 and Chrysler Crossfire, allow educators to teach students about advanced engineering, design technology and mechanical applications that otherwise would not be possible. These vehicles are either pre-production vehicles or are slightly damaged and unfit for sale to a customer.

“Today’s Chrysler vehicles are a technology tour de force and thus
provide students with the best platform for getting their hands on the latest
the industry has to offer,” said Bernie Clement, Vice President, Sales and
Service, DaimlerChrysler Canada. “The Company hopes to encourage students to
consider careers as automotive technicians, engineers and dealership
employees.”
