DaimlerChrysler Canada announces price of new 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Windsor, Ontario – DaimlerChrysler Canada announced pricing for its all-new 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Monday. The base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $38,990. The Jeep Grand Cherokee will arrive in dealerships this Fall.

“The new Jeep Grand Cherokee offers our customers more of the content
they want, at a lower price than they expect,” said Ron Smith, Vice-President,
Marketing. “There is a new level of SUV technology in this vehicle that we
haven’t seen before in the industry with features like the Electronic Limited
Slip Differentials that improve the balance of on-road and off-road driving
manners of the vehicle.
With an MSRP of $38,990, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo comes standard
with a 3.7-litre V-6 engine mated to an all-new five-speed automatic
transmission and a Quadra-Trac I full-time four-wheel drive system.
The MSRP for the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is $48,595. It comes standard with a 4.7-litre V-8 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and the Quadra-Trac II 4×4 system.
The MSRP for Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited models equipped with the 5.7-litre Hemi V-8 engine is $49,990. Its engine features the Multi-Displacement cylinder deactivation system. It also offers a five-speed automatic transmission and Quadra-Drive II and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
The 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee is built at DaimlerChrysler’s Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit.
